Getting Your Digital Passport Photo
If you don't yet have a digital copy of your passport photo, the resources below will help you get started.
HAVE YOUR PASSPORT PHOTO TAKEN AT A LOCATION THAT PROVIDES THIS SERVICE
Search for a local passport photo service provider near you.
Ensure the provider offers you a digital option, this will save you time. Ask!
ENSURE THE PHOTO IS FORMATTED CORRECTLY.
Please see the US Dept of State website for guidance on the format.
It should be the standard 2" x 2" image size of your headshot.
IF YOUR PASSPORT PHOTO IS A HARD COPY:
● We Cannot Accept Scans of a Photo or Photos of a Photo.
● Do NOT Send a Photo of Your Actual Passport.
● The Image Should Be A Minimum Of 300 dpi Resolution.
● .jpg, .jpeg or .png format only.
AATA WILL REVIEW YOUR PASSPORT PHOTO IMAGE SUBMISSION AND EMAIL YOU IF IT NEEDS TO BE CORRECTED – AATA CANNOT EDIT YOUR PHOTO IN ANY WAY.
Beware of imitators. We are one of two organizations authorized by US Department of State to issue International Driving Permits.
